Hosting
This website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS Lightsail). When you visit this site, your browser's IP address and standard request data are processed by AWS as part of delivering the pages to you, and may be recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting purposes. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure and reliable website.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, and message you submit in order to respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(a)/(b) GDPR — consent given by submitting the form / steps prior to entering a contractual relationship). Submissions are sent by email to our inbox and are not stored in a database on this website. We keep the resulting email for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up, after which it is deleted.
The form is protected against spam using hCaptcha, provided by Intuition Machines, Inc. hCaptcha only loads after you actively click to enable it, and processes your interaction data (and, where applicable, your IP address) to verify you are not a bot. This is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). See hCaptcha's own privacy policy for details on their processing.
Newsletter
We plan to offer an email newsletter via our own Sendy installation. This feature is not yet active on the site. Once available, this policy will be updated to describe what data is collected, the double opt-in process, and how to unsubscribe.
Streaming links
Links to Spotify and Apple Music on this site are plain outbound hyperlinks that open in a new tab. No data is exchanged with those services until you click a link and leave this site; visiting their pages is governed by their own privacy policies.
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for details on what is stored in your browser and how to manage your choices.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at verberate@verberatedj.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, once the newsletter goes live). The current version always applies.
